About Me

My photo
Bakersfield, CA, United States
Hans was a busy, happy, sweet and fearless three year old when he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. He fought his disease like a "gladiator" for nearly 6 years. Hans was an animal lover to his core. He was 'guarded' at home by his three cats, Black, Orange and Cotton. He also had his Golden Retriever, Honey, to keep him company. Hans enjoyed swimming, biking, gardening, grilling (he had his very own grill!), horseback riding, playing video games, building Legos, and flipping between Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Animal Planet. Hans loved all members of his family and he was a loyal friend. He had to go through a lot of treatment in his life. But Hans powered through it. His attitude was let's get this done! His motivation was always to get back home, to his family, pets, favorite foods and pool.

$21,300 in cupcakes, brownie cookies and treats

End of sale, only 4 items left to donate to PICU.

Hans and Kevin with all the cookies and brownies and cupcakes we did for the sale. Cutest tip ever - put cupcakes into a clear plastic cup for easy storage. Thanks Mrs. Nusbaum - your idea went viral at this sale!

Thanks Mrs. Parker and class for the best bake sale sign ever!!!

Full Swing - we had seven tables full of baked goods,
and had to restock til we ran out of product.

Hi!
Quickie post here - we did $2,000 in sales at our TCH bake sale yesterday. That brings our grand total to $21,300 from our TCH bake sales over the past three years. All our proceeds go to the CNCF. I'd like to thank all of our friends, neighbors, and the other NB mamas for keeping these sales going! Fabulous!

Hans and Kevin visited the sale while Hans got pre-flight labs at TCH yesterday. His HGB and platelets came up just a bit, and his ANC is still outta this world. It's all good for a pretty, chilly weekend of soccer, soccer, and more soccer. Elle has her first spring season tournament this weekend.

This is awesome! I wish we could have a bake sale in Seattle. It would be so fun to bake stuff for it. Nice job-so pretty!
