Hi,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we did start Hans on Accutane yesterday! He is now on day 2 (12 days to go, but who's counting?). So far so good. His cold symptoms are all cleared up so he got the thumbs up from Dr. Russell. We've had a quiet week - but he's got a busy weekend/week ahead of him, so we'll hope he can keep his energy up and try to stay in a good mood and we'll see if we do it all...Friday night Astros Game, Sat. Amazing Grace Golf Tournament, Sun our friend Morgan's first communion party, swim lessons M and W, scans Tuesday and the bake sale Friday. When I list it out like that it does sound a little ambitious for accutane - so we'll just have to see how much we can do.
Not much else to report - so I'll make this one short and sweet for a change.
Matt and Anna and Emma - you've sure been in our thoughts and prayers lately - our deepest condolences on the loss of Matt's brother, Ben. Lots of love-
Lara and all
About Me
- Hans Weberling
- Bakersfield, CA, United States
- Hans was a busy, happy, sweet and fearless three year old when he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. He fought his disease like a "gladiator" for nearly 6 years. Hans was an animal lover to his core. He was 'guarded' at home by his three cats, Black, Orange and Cotton. He also had his Golden Retriever, Honey, to keep him company. Hans enjoyed swimming, biking, gardening, grilling (he had his very own grill!), horseback riding, playing video games, building Legos, and flipping between Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Animal Planet. Hans loved all members of his family and he was a loyal friend. He had to go through a lot of treatment in his life. But Hans powered through it. His attitude was let's get this done! His motivation was always to get back home, to his family, pets, favorite foods and pool.
