About Me

My photo
Bakersfield, CA, United States
Hans was a busy, happy, sweet and fearless three year old when he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. He fought his disease like a "gladiator" for nearly 6 years. Hans was an animal lover to his core. He was 'guarded' at home by his three cats, Black, Orange and Cotton. He also had his Golden Retriever, Honey, to keep him company. Hans enjoyed swimming, biking, gardening, grilling (he had his very own grill!), horseback riding, playing video games, building Legos, and flipping between Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Animal Planet. Hans loved all members of his family and he was a loyal friend. He had to go through a lot of treatment in his life. But Hans powered through it. His attitude was let's get this done! His motivation was always to get back home, to his family, pets, favorite foods and pool.

Huggable!

Just wanted to share this photo from yesterday, Thursday, January 25 of Hans hugging his new "Valentine" dog from his Aunt Susy. He loved it!

Thanks to everyone here in Texas and elsewhere for loving and supporting the Weberling family...y'all are awesome!

I'll miss you, Hans, Elle, Lara and Kevin. Love you so much.

Stay strong, Hans!

Hugs,
Megan

HELLLLOOOOO, Hansie!
We are so glad you are enjoying the Valentine's Day puppy...he needed some tender, loving care!
We are also delighted that you are feeling so much better! The students in my classroom ask about you every day...they would REALLY like to meet you!
It is still very cold and wintery in northern New Mexico! BRRRRRR!
John and I are sitting near a warm fire, and Leo the Lion (the kitty) is curled up next to us!
We look forward to being able to speak with you on the telephone SOON!
Love and hugs,
Aunt Susy and John
