This pic is actually from our admission Last Week where Hans built his third or fourth green lantern (Thanks G'ma S!) the hospital gift shop has a rather tiny Lego section, so sometimes we just build the same ones over and over...
Kevin and I each had an opportunity this admission to talk with Dr. Marachelian. Now we just have to see which option we can actually get him set up with and go forth. Looks like we are moving off Vorinostat already, due largely to PAIN that has really really increased since starting. We have to infer that it's not helping very much. Lucky, our Onc was able to pull together a laundry list of options.
Hans is now home building, eating, and watching our favorite show! We'll take it. Thanks for checking up on us and for keeping Hans in your thoughts and prayers.

I just returned from my morning walk where I had encountered one of the twin sets of fawns on my mesa hillside! They are growing daily, but still are well camouflaged by their spots! Autumn is in the morning air; so, soon winter coats will cause the spots to diminish!

I check in on Hans' page each day and always have him on my mind and in my heart. I am happy to see him smiling- despite all of the pain he has been dealing with. I pray that the next course of therapy knocks NB out of his body, a body that so deserves a break.

Our 3year old was diagnosed in March and things had been going well until his cancer relapsed before we made it to stem cell. So we head to CHLA this week to hopefully begin a clinical trial. Sorry your fight has been so long. Hans sounds like an amazing kid. Fight on! Much love and prayers your way from Santa Maria
