About Me

Hans was a busy, happy, sweet and fearless three year old when he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. He fought his disease like a "gladiator" for nearly 6 years. Hans was an animal lover to his core. He was 'guarded' at home by his three cats, Black, Orange and Cotton. He also had his Golden Retriever, Honey, to keep him company. Hans enjoyed swimming, biking, gardening, grilling (he had his very own grill!), horseback riding, playing video games, building Legos, and flipping between Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Animal Planet. Hans loved all members of his family and he was a loyal friend. He had to go through a lot of treatment in his life. But Hans powered through it. His attitude was let's get this done! His motivation was always to get back home, to his family, pets, favorite foods and pool.

Cool as a Cucumber

Made it through another night - cool as a cucumber! Hans is doing a double session with his teacher right now, so all must be well. We may have just run him into the ground this weekend?? He seems to be okay!

I forgot to mention a THANK YOU! I'd like to thank our local chapter of the National Charity League. The NCL is a group of young ladies and their mothers who do charitable acts for the community. This past Saturday, I attended a lovely brunch and received a generous $1500 donation to the CNCF! Charon and Athena were huge helps to me in pulling off our NCL lanyard workshops this year. Thanks:)

Lara,
It is so important to hear about groups like the National Charity League who support the efforts of organizations like CNCF.
Also, I have to say how proud I am of you and the other moms (families and friends too) of children with neuroblastoma for your work and the amazing support you've given CNCF through what has to be the most difficult time of your lives. Keep reminding us of ways we can help!

Love and God Bless!
Mom
