About Me

My photo
Bakersfield, CA, United States
Hans was a busy, happy, sweet and fearless three year old when he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. He fought his disease like a "gladiator" for nearly 6 years. Hans was an animal lover to his core. He was 'guarded' at home by his three cats, Black, Orange and Cotton. He also had his Golden Retriever, Honey, to keep him company. Hans enjoyed swimming, biking, gardening, grilling (he had his very own grill!), horseback riding, playing video games, building Legos, and flipping between Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Animal Planet. Hans loved all members of his family and he was a loyal friend. He had to go through a lot of treatment in his life. But Hans powered through it. His attitude was let's get this done! His motivation was always to get back home, to his family, pets, favorite foods and pool.

Just for fun!

Just because he's sooo cute - here's another pic of my grandpa.
I think this must have been last christmas, I just raided this pic
from my cousin Brandi's Facebook page. My grandpa is sort of surprising people by holding his own if not getting better!
Hans has made a pretty great recovery. He is eating and drinking all day! We are very pleased.
We'll still go in on Thursday for an office visit and labwork.
Peace, Love and Cure,
Lara

Last night I stop by to see you’re “Papa” and was surprised to see him doing so well. He was being waited on by Michelle (making homemade macaroni and cheese) and your mom( making hot oat meal toast, Your mom’s dinner won out and “Papa: toasted me with his cranberry juice. As you say at the end every day is a gift and what gifts you have in a wonderful loving family here in Seattle to Texas.
God Bless Your Family
Love,
Pat K.

"Papa" is a cutie! I am so pleased he continues to improve...and still has a few surprises!

YEAH for Hans! May culinary delights continue to please your taste buds...and all of those vitamins and minerals fend off the stinky mouth sores!

May your clinic visit tomorrow be great!

Sabrina's, TOO!

Love and hugs to all,
Aunt Susy
