About Me

Hans was a busy, happy, sweet and fearless three year old when he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. He fought his disease like a "gladiator" for nearly 6 years. Hans was an animal lover to his core. He was 'guarded' at home by his three cats, Black, Orange and Cotton. He also had his Golden Retriever, Honey, to keep him company. Hans enjoyed swimming, biking, gardening, grilling (he had his very own grill!), horseback riding, playing video games, building Legos, and flipping between Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Animal Planet. Hans loved all members of his family and he was a loyal friend. He had to go through a lot of treatment in his life. But Hans powered through it. His attitude was let's get this done! His motivation was always to get back home, to his family, pets, favorite foods and pool.

You look great Hansie! I'm glad that you have a new dog (and the foundation) to help watch over you right now. I will make sure to tell Uncle Quinn to check him out.

Love You Lots! XOXO

This blogspot is so awesome. I can keep up with Hans even when I'm not taking care of him :) I'm so happy I've had the opportunity to take care of such a special little man. Hans, you have been so strong since the very beginning and you will continue to do great! Tomorrow is a big day so get some rest and I'll see you guys soon.

Good morning, Hansie!
WOW...what a handsome duo you and Petey make!
His shiny, mahogany-colored coat looks soft and silky...a nice guy to snuggle!
It's nice to see you and your buddy resting and snacking comfortably...my students and I will think of you this way ALL day!
Winter has returned...Mother Earth has been thoroughly dusted by the winds and bathed by the rains! Now, she is wearing a light coat of fluffy white snow over all of the spring flowers!
Rest, EAT, and read a good book today! Create an art masterpiece, too!
Love and hugs,
Aunt Susy
